Apology to those who found my use of the word ------ offensi

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Apology to those who found my use of the word ------ offensi

Postby humanist » Sat Mar 03, 2007 11:11 pm

I do apologise if my use of the word enosis was offensive or disturbing in any way to anyone, I used it to take the piss of those events. Without realising that some of us are old enough that could have suffered by those events.

I do apologise especially to Gav,

I have tried to delete the post but I am not able too.

Humanist, the word enosis is not offensive. What it is, is just a word. It is not your fault people wont read past their nose and they don't realize that it has a meaning other than what they perceive in their minds. You have no reason whatsoever to apologize.

Andri- cy thank you very much, though I am on my journey to be a better person and if I feel that I could have cause dsomeone to harm then I can apologise for it. My aim in life is to be inclussive not exclussive so I want to make things right for me and the other, just as I want so much for all of us in cyprus and beyond to live in harmony and breed togetherness not alienation.

Thanks for your kind words of support ...... God Bless :)

to be honest VP i have no idea what taksim is or what it stood for (i have vague but only vague idea), and to some degree I really don't care. what happened happened am now concentrating on what might happen from here on.

It's okay Gav, that is the problem of internet discussion a lot of the non verbals are lost, shame. But thank you for accepting it for what it was. I now know tobe more sensitive and understanding.

VP I guess you are becoming a minority in terms of representing what cypriots in the trnc are wanting, it takes a real Cypriot such as Gav to point it out, thank you Gav. Infact I suspect most real Cypriots actually left Cyprus from both sides, or perhaps we are fortunate to have been given that choice. Still I yearn very much to have my 15 - 20 acres of land in the karpaz area and grow my organic vegies and running my health retreat. ........ Another one of my dreams. ........ Dreams become reality. ..........Who watched the field of dreams????

You are right Humanis we have to look for future.
I know you may not like this idea but if i was instead of you i will go to apply this court and they might give your lands back or In karpaz area they selling the lands like £1000 -£2000 per donum and you might put one family from uk and buy them.If me i will do it like this . but another problem is i heard that all Karpaz already sold to Jews. I know its sad but what you can do.

Gav you know the sadest thing is ........ Cyprus is being sold left right and center to everyone else but the people who belong there. What to do. My friend I do not own land in karpaz but there are others who do and to be selling it for 2000 lira that is crazy I would pay much more than that.

I know.
You not gonna beleive they was offering me like £1000 donum Exchange lands and i didnt buy and i go to buy Pre74 lands which i have to pay a lot extra. I paid 15000 per donum that time. but now you go to try to buy near the sea lands say exchange deeds price is 20 times more then before
and already most of the north is sold to Brits and Jews. The problem was TCs was finacialy week and they sold it cheap even its exchange their land in south.Thats why my opinion Annan Plan was very Good for GCs , this could make many GCs have their lands back and it will stop land dealing to foreigners for 10-15 years. Of course again my opinion (which i chat with some limassol and Protoras people) doesnt matter what, they dont want their Tourism business go down they waoted no. In this case situation is very bad for GCs because i dont think it will be easy to get their lands back from The Brits. Papadopulus made a big mistake by calling people for vote no.(my opinion again).
I dont know about future but i can not see any solition for another 10 years specially as long as Papadopulus is there.
Sorry i go a bit political but i m thinking for both sides and trust me its bad for both sides.
