It was sad to see in the paper that there has been a "surge" of women coming forward to have abortions so that they can conceive AFTER the cash incentive for a 3rd baby comes into force. Disy deputy Maria Kyriacou has stated that they have received lots of calls from pregnant women trying to find out when the plan will apply. How sad.

Do not worry Tess, the incentive will apply retrospectively from the moment it was announced and will include all women who were pregnant at the time it was publicised.
