The Cyprus problem is primarily about the LIBERATION of the Northern portion of the island and not whether or not two or more communities can live in one arrangement or another; that comes secondary.
If the RoC cannot attain full control of its entire territory then there is no point in assisting and/or blending with a small community, of a predominantly agricultural nature, that actually harbors the enemy.
If you remove the RoC's incentive then don't be surprised by the stagnation. TP is CORRECT in his strategies because he acts in the interests of the RoC which is the sole legitimate authority of Cyprus.
Talat is irrelevant to the Cyprus problem and should only be consulted on issues regarding the TC community. Technically, the emotions of GCs and TCs should be ignored by the RoC and TP must remain focused on the bigger picture and difficult project at hand.
