Actually all the ones in the bathroom were killed, I think the lady VP is talking about was the lady hiding in the toilet but she was also killed with a pistol to her head. The survivor is male as far as I know...

Footsteps came to the locked bathroom, an unknown hand Impatiently rattled the knob, and a voice called in Greek, ` "How would you like Enosis" Then a hail of bullets tore through the wood and Mrs. llhall and Her children, caught directly in its path, were lifted off their feet and Dumped on to the bottom of the bath. The killers smashed the door lock and jumped inside. One of The major's children moaned and was scolded into permanent Silence by a short peremptory burst. Then the raiders saw the others Huddled on the floor. They played their guns on them like impatient Children forced to water the garden flowers. The three Turks were All wounded some seriously. A bullet struck the foot of the baby Ishin. The locked door of the toilet drew the gunmen's attention to The landlord's wife. The door was beaten in by machine-gun butts And the woman was dragged out whimpering. A pistol was placed To her head, one shot was fired, and she slumped to the floor, dead. The killers whooping and jeering, charged through the house, Machine-gunning cupboards, smashing furniture, slipping and Sliding on the dark red blood that crept out of the bathroom. lshin Mora, the baby, survived, and after several operations her Foot was saved. Today, aged 35, lshin is married with a young son. She owns the supermarket Can (pronounced Jan) Kan on Shakespeare Avenue in Nicosia. Her limp reminds her of the Atrocity she was too young to understand.

most fo the killings that took place between the cypriots in cyprus were the direct orders from turkey and greece . and these did nto include fair play these included dirty tricks to kill turkish speaking or greek speaking and blame the other side. have we learned nothing from the tragedy of cyprus are we cypriots that blind that we can never see we always have to take what they tell us what they write about what they wwant us to believe where is history who where is our writers who write about the cypriots without prejudice where is our identity

Turkish Cypriot daily AFRIKA newspaper (28.02.07) reports in its first page that there is new information on the issue of the bathroom massacre incident. (TR. Note: The incident took place in 1963, where a Turkish Cypriot family was found dead in the bathroom of its house. The Turkish Cypriot side supports that the family was killed by Greek Cypriot guerrillas). AFRIKAs columnist Sener Levent reports, inter alia, in his daily Column Point of View that there is the need to clarify this issue. Mr Levent goes on and writes that the paper received two more pieces of information on this issue yesterday: The first one is related to Hasan Kudum who was hurt during the bathroom massacre incident but he did not lose his life. Asked by his friends if those who came to kill them spoke between them Greek or Turkish, Hasan Kudum stated: There were persons who spoke Greek and there were persons who spoke Turkish. The second information is related to a person who was known under the name Bozkurt (Grey wolf) and later it was found out that his real name was Kenan Coskun. Nihat Ilhan, whose wife and three children were killed in the incident, went to Kenan Coskun and asked him: Has the organisation killed my family in order to secure the intervention of Turkey in the island?. The answer given by Kenan Coskun and bothered Nihat Ilhan was the following: Go and take revenge. He did not tell him from where to take revenge, writes Sener Levent.

The house is in Nicosia and You can go to visit anytime office hours ,its a bathroom massacre musium and everything still there as it is from that day. It is a true incident. This is one of the reasons we shouldnt leave together but we can be friends and forget the past and look future.
