free_cyprus, you don't need to post this video in all threads.

I've seen most of your film but it is mostly just empty slogans and no essence. In general I disagree with your approach (in general, not just about the video) because

1) I believe that our cultural heritage (Greek,Turkish, Arab whatever) can be used to enrich our country and not as an excuse for conflict.

and

2) I find your idea that we should just forget our ethnic background, adopt a third language other than Greek/Turkish etc as unrealistic (but I admit that if that could happen then it would probably solve the Cyprus problem)

i simply asked what people thought of the video i have no intention of creating problems i rather have peace

You of course have the comfort zone of being the numerical majority and not being trusted due to our dark history.

our history is one of occupation torture and rape by the very languages we speak our history shows us that cypriot people are mummies baby daddies maybe............................ we dont have identity sooo think we are turks and greeks becouse we speak the language the truth of the matter is we are just bastards of history thats been raped by every occupying force thats come and gone in cyprus. soo tell me what part of you is turkish and what part of you is greek

If our history is "dark" then I wonder what you would call the Turkish history. Full of enlightenment? :lol:

It's just one persons view of the problem and their wish for a united island. Doesn't change the fact that what happened to Cyprus was wrong. I think 'Divide and rule' was mentioned in the video? Well that's the history of the world really. The strong divide and conquer the weak through staged/manipulated crises. Nothing new in this. Just look at Iraq.
