Hi,
Its up to what age u r and what kind of life you like (clubbibg or quiet holiday)
I dont know how cyprus will be but my friend been Egypt and he told me that Hotels are beatuifull and 80% full and many nice places to visit there.
In Cyprus i dont think not much to do but you can visit some small villages , if me i will go to Sadrazamkoy (maronites live there) and have a Kleftiko opposite the church and after i travel all the way to Karpaz(you can stop at balapais its lovely place i mean the best in cyprus) to see the Donkeys and stop at Golden Beech. When you coming back its a fish restaurant near Bogaz (monarga)(bogaz hotel restaurant) and try seabass or sheftalia kebab . Then i will go home and have a barbaque at 12 pm in the night. Also if you plannong to visit some clubs then visit cyprusnightlife.com for GC and Cyprusnightlife.net for TC. Hope it helps
Also i forget to mention that if you dont wanna go to North Cyprus You can go to TRODOS mauntains but bring barbeque with you to you can have barbeque on top of the mountain. Not realy nice restaurants on the way. If you wanna bring you family in larnaca restaurant for fish is the best one Verosikas(fish meze is grat there) or smilar name and for kleftiko is where is the turkish street 0 to the sea is a 1 restaurant you will see the Kleftiko ovens outside. that one is good and very cheap £5 for kleftiko and take some rice and yoghurt with it.
Hope this helps
