THIS IS THE BEST WAY TO COOK PRAWNS !
I been in boearmouth Alcatraz Restaurant (Very nice restaurant -good food) and how much i enjoyed the prawns i ask the receipe
In greek restaurants i m going they dont know abou this i think because they always barbeque it.
HERE IT IS .
You have to put some butter in the pan and chop very tiny pieces garlic in it and half lemon you have to sqoeze the juice. cook for 2 min and put the fresh prawns with heads to cook. when they get pink turn them straightaway (dont cook to much because they get hard) , when the other side its get pink serve them. the buttergarlic lemon souce you cooked with put on op of them and trust me you will get surprized how delicious it is.

My favorite prawn recipe is close to that ...is the fried prawns with flour and then prepare a garlic-butter sauce...but you have to try grilled prawns with lemon and olive oil sauce and "giouvetsi" with prawns (I am sorry I dont know how its called in English but I know for sure that you an not find "kritharaki" for that in UK...at least not here where I live :( )

Lena, kritharaki in english is orzo. Try asking for orzo, you should be able to find it. I sure do here and there are not Cypriots for miles....
