Sorry guys, did not mean to offend but those songs are REAL Eurovision standard....if you get what I mean. There is so much good music out there from whatever style you like. I listen to any music that is done well and I know that it is a personal thing but the music put forward by some on this forum seems to be insular or at best Eurotrash.

I know I am going to get my head chewed off here but I have always liked the less commercial stuff and more underground.

I don't like much of the new Turkish stuff either but some are done well and the cross over works with some.

are there any blues fans out there? here is a great one by George Duke
http://rapidshare.com/files/19141758/I_Love_The_Blues__She_Heard_My_Cry.mp3

and here is one by ferry corsten
http://rapidshare.com/files/19142373/11_-_Show_Your_Style_Feat._Birgit.mp3

and one of my favourite artists frank zappa, undoubtedly one the best guitarists of all time, just listen the way he plays the guitar.

Could not get any of those to work on the free side Pits. Keeps telling me that I have reached my free download limit without downloading anything?

Shame, I was looking forward to listening to those.....

sorry to hear this zan, but you should be able to download each file after a couple of hrs of each other in the free service.

I tried them and they work.

In any case if you were to join it will be worth it because anything stored in rapidshare can be download quickly with and out limits

I have been using this site for all my downloads

http://katz.ws/

totally awesome

i would consider the best works of zappa to be

1. aportophe
2. sheik yerbouti

Thanks, Pitsilos & Zan...here's a few that interest me...

The Hunt. Niyaz is an excellent listen, although it's sung in Farsi so I'm clueless on the words.

I Am Mine. Actually quite impressive how well-known Pearl Jam are.

Darkness, Darkness - Robert Plant. Lots of mixing with African, Indian and Arabic styles. A definite pioneer of world music.
