Please could anyone tell me if there was a fatal car crash in the early hours of Monday morning killing 2 british tourists?

Any help would be grateful

Nothing in the Cyprus Mail internet edition, so maybe not. Fatal crashes are nearly always recorded there.

I have been given some more information if this helps the british couple were staying Paphos and flying back from Paphos airport.

Sorry don't have any news as I'm in the UK.
What makes you think this couple have died in a fatal crash............are they family or friends that have failed to get their flight home?
You could try phoning Paphos hospital and police..........I've searched online and the numbers are
Paphos Police 26-240140
Paphos Hospital 26-240111

I think it was in the North; I think 7 people were killed, a week or so back.
