Re:- Direct Flights Question

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

The TC community, on the other hand are indeed the remnants of the Turkish occupying force (1571..1878) and are therefore constantly challenging and resisting the indigenous majority of the island.

Is there such a thing as the "indigenous" people of Cyprus?

The Greek Cypriots are the indigenous people of Cyprus traced back to 3500BC who became influenced in language, religion, architecture, trade, and other areas by the Myceans (Southern part of Greece called “Sparti”) at around 1500BC.

Greek Cypriots are NOT Greeks that wondered over and landed on Cyprus… make no mistake because the Hellenism of Cyprus is a MYCEAN IMPORT by the indigenous people of the island.

Feel free to read up on the History of Cyprus as agreed upon by Historians and Archeologists worldwide.

You're talking about 1500 BC! There was people there before the Mycenaean Greeks even as far back as 10000 BC so what are you talking about? There is no such thing as the "indigenous people of Cyprus".

Everyone was imported! I suggest you do some research also mister...

Is that a dwarf elephant?

If it is then we are looking at a true indigenous species of Cyprus, and as VP has pointed out, an old relative of Get Reals.

You obviously have the right to fight for your rights but never forget so do we and we will never give up as long as there is no better alternative the TRNC is here to stay and we will be around for along time to come if you do not take steps to agree a solution. The ball is firmly in your court but in the meantime excuse us for wanting the same human rights as everyone else which we will pursue and push for our people.

To resist the naturally selected indigenous force of Cyprus is to resist Mother-nature herself…and nobody in the history of mankind has ever succeeded in beating nature in battle.

Not even a full blown land, sea, and air, Turkish military invasion of some 40,000 troops was able to change the natural selection process of Cyprus… for you are but the remnants of the uninvited Turkish invasion of 1571 and thus you shall remain.

However, today you are lucky to have an invitation by the island’s indigenous people so that you may compete for a slice of the financial pie in a modern, fair and square, democratic infrastructure backed by the EU.

Is your community among Mother-nature’s selected elite which will thrive and prosper by taking advantage of offered opportunities or will it perish into oblivion like so many before it for NOT wanting to assimilate with nature's decisions?

History proves that resistance to nature is futile and I sicerely hope that decisions made by your community today will take into account the GREATER picture of things for your own sake.

I think you are mixing your bible stories with the events of nature. Are you suggesting that the GCs were maybe created in the six days that it took god to create the world and then the TCs evolved. WOW!

Have you traced your ancestry at all?

I dont understand how Hellenism is a Mycenaean import imported BY the indigenous people of the island. That makes NO sense what so ever. Do you know what indigenous means?

indigenous definition
adj.
1. Originating and living or occurring naturally in an area or environment. See Synonyms at native.
2. Intrinsic; innate.

In other words a naturally occurring species!!!!

Read my post again. 1500BC was when the Greek CULTURE was adopted FROM the Greek Myceans.

Also, I strongly advise AGAINST using the Wikipedia as a reference as it is an "open" project where any Tom, Dick, or Harry can create and/or modify an article with or without qualifications.

I haven't bothered to read the article you quote as it may have been written by a TC but feel free to quote from some REAL encyclopedias.
