My family history goes up to lusignas time. And we live in same village at least 400 years . i couldnt check deeper because it wasny enough info

come on man, how can you make such a claim...are you an inbread or something? How can you really guarantee that you can trace your roots to 400 years ago. I am not denying that your first forfarther was an ottoman, and this doesn't even mean turkish btw, but to claim you you just claim is ludicrous.

Further more you seem to be very passionate about your 400 year history and you would consider that your ancestral land, now can you understand how other people feel when they lost theirs? and sold of to jews and poms as you put it?

I know. I'm kinda mixed too. My mums family is Cypriot but they're from a Greek village in Karpaz so I wouldn't be suprised if I had Greek in me somewhere down the line. From my fathers side, his dad is a Laz (of Georgian decent) from the Black Sea Region in Turkey, and his mum a Circassian (Cherkess) from Caucasus. I definately look unusal for a Turk.

turkish cypriot just a question, who is a turk? coz the ottomans were of different backgrounds. I mean the ottomans were from mogolia to start off with. they were asians.

Hmm, well there's a simple test you can do to verify that but you'll need a 12" ruler...
