Pitsilos...
get real what are you exactly trying to prove with this comical poll? and i know something about comical polls

You want to know what comical really is?

It’s Turkey screwing us around day in and day out while the TC community just sits there on the wall collecting the dole and playing dummy! I don’t see any demonstrations against the Turkish military or any TC families crossing the “border” with their possessions. This two-timing attitude doesn’t fool me.

the symbols that you are talking about ain't decided by the people you are suggesting to punish. has such a thought ever passed through your mind?

What makes you so sure that they have nothing to do with it? Can you speak for all TCs?

your view is to punish the every day joe for decisions that are made by others. please think what you are implying here.

I’m talking about applying a “squeeze” to encourage those sitting on the wall to get OFF the wall of stagnation and choose sides once and for all.

i think, and its safe to say that most cypriots are against monstrocities, be flags painted on mountains or statue worshshipping as shahmaran said he looks at as an eyesore, why then would you want to punish him?

What has he and his community done about it? They’re probably having a good laugh over there at fools like you who always relieve them of all responsibility. I don’t buy this shit that they’re “poor victims caught in the middle” crap and demand to see some action.

I would instead take it a step further and say the roc should supply electricity to the whole island, and charge, as they did the last time on an on going concern.

Well then, you might want to put in your tender with the Turkish military so good luck!

we need projects that provide co-operation and keeps us tight to each other.

Yeah… like what a Goubba making factory or a Shamali eating competition?

also i take offence that you seem to categorize everyone with the same stroke of the paint brush, with the comment Bugger that... let them live like Moles! we are talking about human beings here.

I gave them a democratic broad spectrum of replies and for your info my vote was for number 1 but I do respect the Mole option also… let the viewers decide…

and you bring the hospitals in as well. may i remind you we are talking about suffering humans and not mentioning little kids and babies.

You misunderstood that sentence where I clearly emphasized “AND your flags”.

I encourage EVERYONE to vote EXACTLY how they feel and if you agree that you’ve had enough of this gimmick called the “TRNC” well then let it be known!

Dito Miltiades and Pitsilos, totally agree suppies must go on, and if the leadership of trnc respect the gesture and wish to reciprocate with bringing down the flags well that will be respected and appreciated by greek speaking cypriots.

if you can't see how comical your poll is then you perhaps need to see a head shrink.

you want the tcs to make a stand? don't we all. but has the roc, guarunteed their safety? footing the bill that turkey does every day? guarantted them, in the event that turkey fucks off, that things will stay as they are until a solution is found? or are you under the impression that turkey leaves and we swarm them in the north?

well ger real, now you know as to why your poll is comical, it has no substance.

until the roc takes responcibility and guarantees the tcs that when and if turkey leaves their safety is guanrnteed, and they won't get swarmed by the gcs from the south you have no leg to stand on.

submission isn't working but some fucking guarantees by the government that to this day says it stands for all its citizens might go a long way.

Pistilos…

You’ve made your point on two occasions but must you resort to this?

you want the tcs to make a stand? don't we all. but has the roc, guarunteed their safety? footing the bill that turkey does every day? guarantted them, in the event that turkey fucks off, that things will stay as they are until a solution is found? or are you under the impression that turkey leaves and we swarm them in the north?

Utter rubbish! With a modern democracy and meticulous European membership it’s the best safety guarantee anybody could ever wish for. There is no excuse, but you fail to see the underlying desires of their community…luckily TP doesn’t.

well ger real, now you know as to why your poll is comical, it has no substance.

Your short-sightedness is what keeps you from smelling the rat and that’s why you wouldn’t make a good politician.

until the roc takes responcibility and guarantees the tcs that when and if turkey leaves their safety is guanrnteed, and they won't get swarmed by the gcs from the south you have no leg to stand on.

Again, “security” is not the problem…try “power” and see how many eyelids you’ll raise.

You both have some valid points, it is about power, however for some people there is a real safety factor, and yes I too believe that safety is guaranteed from the EU, on the other hand if safety is an identified issue by the turkish cypriot community then an alternative to turkish troop withdrawl needs to be implemented to ensure a safe transition is experienced by all involved.

Heartfelt thanks to humanist, pitsilos, miltiades, and my dear komshu Cypezokyli for showing me once again that they are True Cypriots, who care for their compatriots in their hour of need.It is comments like GR is making which are causing more and more TCs to question the wisdom of wanting reunification. But your wisdom and compassion more than outweigh insensitive and revengful rumblings of GR,thank God.

Miltiades,

I met Mrfromng and his lovely wife the other night in Sydney and we talked a lot about you.He is most impressed by your integrity, humanity, and your principled stand on Cypro.I can't wait to meet you and shake your hand and give you a big hug,mate... :D

RoC may cut power on areas where mongol settlers live or where english have built their illegal villas. I agree teh turkish speaking cypriots are citizens of ROC, so they deserve to have power
