Sorry to break it to you but people in Cyprus are of Turkish and Greek origin, its as simple as that. If you cant respect or at least understand that, then what are YOU doing here?

free_cyprus I think a great many members of the forum would agree with what you say about Cyprus being for Cypriots whatever language they speak and no tfor the Greeks or the Turks. I too have thought and said that Cypriots are Cypriots and not Greeks and not Turks.

Where you 'wind' me up and I'm sure others is your constant unnessesary use of bad language.

Free, my name is not disgracefull in the slightest. I am a Cypriot regardless of what you say. My mums from Cyprus and dads from Turkey, which makes me a TURKISH CYPRIOT in every sense!

You do a little research on Cyprus and you will understand that this is the way it has been for a long time and IT IS A PART OF OUR IDENTITY!

How is his name disgraceful? He didn't name himself Turk, he named himself Turkish Cypriot, which is what he is. Bigger problems will start when we start denying who we are thinking that this is what will lead to a solution...
