STATEMENT: RATHER A "TRAITOR" THAN WORK FOR PAPADO

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Next time I am in Cyprus, yes please. If you are in the UK then the same applies.

I also think the last time I read a book like Kifeas is suggesting it was on a par with "Confessions of a window cleaner". That was not authenticated in court either.

here it is
THE FIRST book by Cypriot journalist and researcher Makarios Drousiotis to be translated into English has just been published. Drousiotis is the author of a number of books on the Cyprus problem and its historical roots, and his latest publication is an English translation of his two-volume work, EOKA B and the CIA and 1974, both of which were published in Nicosia in 2002. The books cover extensively the events of the period surrounding the 1974 coup and Turkey's invasion of the island.

I am looking for the truth not backing for my beliefs. My leaning towards partition is for practical reasons and nothing else. If you can give me names of books from what ever side that you think will help me understand the problem then I will read them but don't ask me to think of them as the truth and nothing but. They are all objective to a point. Unfortunately, none of them will solve the Cyprob because of those reasons and for anyone to come on this forum and try to defend any one with reasons that the words are straight out of the horses mouth is either mad or underestimates the people they are talking to.

nor did i say that there is any book that can give you the "truth".
i just believe that the more one reads, the better.

Fanos,

If you're disgruntled with our current government why don't you approach the opposition to help you with a job to your liking, I'm sure they could do with good journalists hammering the govt (in the right way) and instead opted to sleep with the enemy?

Being a democracy there are ways to get your message across without resorting to such desperate (and seemingly treasonous) moves. Unless of course you were too hot to handle even for the DISI press!! :)

Zan, if you're responding to my post... you may be Cypriot but your regime is not.

If not then ignore this message.
