The rules for opening the Airport,
1-It will be in the center of Green Line
2-It will not be any army forces near airport from both sides
3-The airport will have 2 "departing and arriving terminals" one south side and one north side of the airport but planes will land same pist which will be only one and it will be on Republic of Cyprus land
4-one of the waiting departing and arrival terminal it will be on Republic of Cyprus (south side). second waiting departing and arrival will be on exactly on green line or little bit north part of cyprus.
5-South part of the termial wil be controled compleatly with Greek cypriot imigration and north parth will be controlled with turkish cypriot imigration officers.
7-It can be sign on the south and north part of the termial says Welcome to Cyprus but it will not be any flags.Only south side part of terminal can have a Republic of Cyprus Flag .
8- Passangers travelling for north cyprus they can go directly to north arrivals terminal part and they will be able to pass north part of cyprus after they done security checks with turkish cypriot imigration and customs officials
9- Passangers travelling for Republic of cyprus (south cyprus) they can go directly to south arrivals terminal part and they will be able to pass south part of cyprus after they done security checks with greek cypriot imigration and customs officials
10-All the income from airport will go to Republic of Cyprus(south side) and they have to provide the service to planes and other staff.
AT THE END PLANES TRAVELLING TO REPUBLIC OF CYPRUS BUT PASSANGERS HAVE RIGHT TO PASS TO NORTH PART OF CYPRUS
I m waiting your votes and if you have any idea can make this plan go in progress . Thanks

I have talked about this few months ago, to run "Nicosia Airport" as same as the airport in BASEL (BSL) in Switzerland, which the whole airport is in France, at the border. If you Google the airport (BSL), I'm sure you will get all the details you want.

Stop wasting your time. Nicosia airport cannot possibly ever reopen for regular flights, because it doesn’t and cannot meet international aviation and EU standards. Runway exit /entry too close to densely populated areas.

To fanour: I beleive her/his answers are imporatant for me because the person is smilar to 80% cypriot ideas. the airport can be done anywhere nicosia area in cyprus. finance is not a problem . Dont forget this will happen because for good for turkish cypriots. if i ask do you want turkish cypriots will have better life ,you will answer yes but on this one it will really bring good life , economic support for turkish cypriots. Its all about direct flights to north cyprus. What will you say fanos? yes or no

It will be safer to open Ercan and Ceticale airports to international flights in order to lift the isolation of the Turkish Cypriot people. An airport in Nicosia was operating 32 years ago when there were no buildings in the area. It will not be safe to re open!
