Postby mooks » Sat Feb 24, 2007 4:40 pm

Hi

Does anyone know how much it costs to incorporate a company in Cyprus or buy one that is already registered and how to you go about getting one?

Thanks

Unfortunately it's not the best time to incorporate here, you might end up waiting for months :( http://www.financialmirror.com/more_new ... t=Politics

I'm already waiting 6+ weeks for incorporation of one of my subsidiary companies.

Dont know how long it will take having just seen coredump's reply, but cost for registering a company is now around 300 Cyp, 500 including lawyer's fees. You can do it directly but its probably not worth the hastle especially if you dont speak greek...

I use Totalserve for all my company needs, highly recommended. http://www.totalservecy.com/

And http://www.pgeconomides.com/ for accounting related things. Both are in Limassol and share a building.

I used George at Auditchart, Limassol who took care of everything. Not cheap but it was up and running within a few weeks.

You need a name to register at Companies House, bank reference, registered office address and a director who resides in Cyprus.

Best thing about doing this is that for all purchases such as computers, cars etc you can claim the VAT back as long as you register for VAT. Also tax on dividends rather than salaries is less overall. 10% in Cyprus, 40% in the UK!!!

The director does not have to reside in Cyprus.

Is that true

I have been charged £760 for a nominee director while we are in the UK.

I checked the Chapter 113 Law and it says nothing about the directors being Cypriot. You may need to have the Company Secretary based in Cyprus but that's all!
