turkey, greece, and britain they are best friends

Postby free_cyprus » Sat Feb 24, 2007 3:59 pm

turkey, greece, and britain they are best friends. they do billions of pounds oftrade together they are in the nato together ,they planed and split cyprus together, they are the only ones who benefited together and they are laughing at us together, while we are busy thinking we are greeks and turks. its a shame cyprus has not produces a single men that can kick them out all together and free cyprus to be cypriots, there is no greeks and turks in cyprus its just cypriots, another amazing thing is people think cyprus is devided into two the truth of the matter is cyprus is devided into four.you have militery occupied north by turkey, you have psychologicaly occupied south by greece you have the green zone and you have the land of the british bases. illigal all of them, and what has cypriots got out of it well they had their friends and family killed do to these three nations stirring up trouble, they had their lands taken away they have been displaced, and on top of all that they are forced to proclaim they are either turkish or greek. the only associationwe have with greece and turkey is they came to cyprus and murdered our ancesters in order to occupied our island, and thats where it stops we have nothing else in common with them

I can assure you all that Britain really doesn't give as much of a sh!t about cyprus as all you cypriots seem to think. There are many other things much more important to british and the british government at the moment, not least the state of our own septic isle!

After all, don't forget that the population of RoC, for example, is little more than 8 x the population of my town.... and i live in a small town!

I agree with cyperzokyli and Simon that this post is full of inaccuracies. But Free_cyprus can I ask you where are you from? From your post I supposed you are Cypriot but then all that YOU HAVE and talking about Cyprus like is not something you belong it makes me reconsider. Are you Cypriot or not? And you are so wrong about so many things from the top to the bottom of your post. And you are so wrong that we don’t have common things with Turkey or Greece even if you deny that or not!

Free Cyprus I totally agree with you!

Cyprus was never part of Greece. There have been fanatics and a terrorist organisations like EOKA who used force and violence illegaly against the Constitution signed in 1960 to anex Cyprus to Greece and by doing so, many GreekCypriots and Turkish Cypriots lost their lives.

I dont understand how you can achieve peace WITH these 3 .

The first one appears to suffer from loss of memory.

The second one is just a Prawn in the Ocean

And the Third one is still living in the old ancient time of the Empires like nothing has changed since.

Yes from a military perspective they would care about british bases.

But Jersey is UK sovereign territory, the majority of Cyprus is not. Even when sovereign territory was attacked (Falklands war) the actions of the British government weren't based on looking after the people, more a matter of principle and future military status.

Consider somewhere like Zimbabwe, a (suspended) commonwealth country. Look how the people there have been treated, and are suffering, many more people than in the whole of cyprus. Does the British government give a toss? Regrettably, no. So I doubt they would give much of a toss about the people of Cyprus.

"Ah", I hear you cry, "but what about all the cypriot residents of the UK and families of people in Cyprus?". Yes, but look how many people protested in the UK against the Iraq war but this country still followed the US. You've got more chance of the UK caring about Israel, because they follow the US who care about Israel because of the number of Jews that live in America.

Basically, the labour government can't even run its own country let alone trying to sort out other countries round the world. And if they did try and sort out other countries then I'm sorry, but Cyprus would not be high up on the list of priorities. And it doesn't matter how many posts you might make on this forum son, that ain't going to change. About a zillion people have just signed a petition to downing street about road price charging and blair is about to ignore that, so he'll have no trouble ignoring you. And when that scummy scotsman brown takes over, rest assured nothing is going to change.
