turkey, greece, and britain they are best friends

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I support free on this one. Without those three evils in the picture we would probably have peace in cyprus, however I understand the safety felt by turkish speaking cypriots having turkey involved.

Humanist I would understand if he came out and spoke realisticly but he/she/thing/it(....) is so arrogant and his "solutions" are so far fetched, I mean come on...a bit like your dreams Humanist (as nice as they sound, they are not realistic) but at least you know this, this person here is actually being rude to people who know the difference between fantasy and reality.

i rather be rude and truthful then to lie and be a coward this is where we differ me and you. another point i like to make is you called me arrogant. there is a big differance between arragance and self confident. im not only self confident in super confident.. you and all the others who have pointed out my spelling mistakes in this forum, my appollogies for my mistakes and mis_spelling of certain words. but the human mind is such a powerful tool that you can actualy saparate what is meant and what was spelled, its a shame you cannot apply that powerful mind of yours to see what is going on in reality about cyprus and our situation in the world................ohhh well each to their own i guess.

Free_cyprus... another one who got it all wrong because his ancestors told him that it was all the Greeks fault... but they failed to mention that you as a Greek Cypriot are a Greek. It so difficult for some people here, specially foreigners and Cypriots who have fled 1955 in fear of Brittish (basically beeing chickens) to grasp that there is nothing wrong in beeing a Greek from Cyprus and connect that with the essence of the Cyprus problem and the inability to be a separate independent country.

It is widely known, the basis of the Republic of Cyprus is that it is made of two distinctive communities the Greeks and the Turks. EVERY ONE IN THE WORLD KNOWS THAT, it is written on the constitution even in history channel's greatest greeks Kakoyiannis is one of them... you remember what he said in the begining of his film Attila?

"My name is Michael, I am Greek and this is my home island Cyprus!"

This is it... unless you super progressive neo nationalists of the Cypriot kind understand and start respecting this fact that YOU ARE GREEKS and THEY ARE TURKISH all Cypriots and this is part of our identity then you are beyond help. You will vanish in cypriotism and you will have the donkey as your flag because anything else could have been labeled as Greek or Turkish...

my anceters do not even agree with me my family dont even agree with me i m an independent thinker all i know is im a cypriot im not greek or turkish. my father speaks three languages fluently greek turkish and english but he is a cypriot. also i think you really need to look further afield then cyprus to understand what im talking about. for example south americans speak spanish are they spanish they would punch you in the face if you told them they were spanish they are proud to be chillians argentineans panamenians mexicans colombians porta ricons cubans. and the list goes on. majority of the middle east speak arabic. go and tell them they are arabs and soon thry will tell you proudly im morroccan tonisian eygipeon serian lebbonese and so forth.
unfortunatly your stuck with micheal and him being greek froma film
