I need clear clarification on the issue of residency in trnc

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

vips, think about it. even if he wanted to how the hell is he gonna get a job when th etcs come to the roc for work everyday.

on top of that the wages will be too low anyway.

further more what about if 200,000 people crossed over and aquired land, became citizens, does that mean they get equal rights and represaentations in government as we speak. with the population reaching 400,000 or so people, 50% will be gcs. how would that work out.

ps. i am always nice and loveable vips.

as far i know you can go to the north of cyprus and live there w ithout aproblem and you wont even have to join the army cos they class you as a greek cypriot what a joke that is and also a turkish speakign person can go to the south and they dont have to join the army either their reasoning is simple they are greek or turkish and since they do not speak the same language as the turks or the greeks that makes them foreight they are cypriots what a bunch of jokers where did they get these soo called two leaders that devide us to north and south of cyprus we shouldnt even have an army mate in cyprus cyprus in all its history has never declared war on any nation but all our history we have been occupied murdered raped made to change religions and languages this is the history of cyprus and thats how we became to speak turkish and greek on the island not through choice but through brutality, and instead of greece turkey and britain making a international appology to the people of cyprus for making is suffer so much in history to the present day, they expect us to be greatful to them. i have never ever recognised turkey or greece as having anything to do with cyprus except to brutalise us occupy us and murder our ancesters.

you got some valid points but try and use fullstops every now then so people can take a breather.

We are discussing whether it is possible and yes it is he would be classed as a foreigner until he qualified for TRNC citizenship. You have to abide by the rules of the TRNC just as we would if we wanted to live in the south.

and what are these rules and how do you obtain citizenship.

the roc recognises you as a citizen, hence your identity card, passport, etc. you do not need to obtain it, coz you can't obtain something you already got.

ps i can't believe we are discussing citizenship in someones place of birth
