The Question is Can Greeks live with Turks ????
1- I m Turkish Cypriot but honestly and true judgement for this question
Sadly i saw on many different situations and 80% of Greeks Cypriots can not live as a neighbour with the turks or turkish cypriots !!!!
I go Larnaca , Paphos and Limassol in Cyprus minimum 5 times a year and i have many friends and i talk many of them about our situation.
FOR FUTURE : Both sides has to stop brainwash their childrens and people they are related about past !

Welcome aboard brother . Here is another Cypriot !! Believe me VP we are the majority , the True Cypriots.
Gav (for short ) 80% CAN LIVE TOGETHER MATE !! Don't give up we are all Cypriots , you love Cyprus just as much as I do , of course you do , its YOUR country.

Then why the hell havent you been able to sort anything our for 44 years?

What you are saying is like telling the medical profession to give up cancer research since they have not found a cure for the last few thousands of years. 44 YEARS YOU SAY !! So we ditch Cyprus and its people and wash our hands. The future generations of Cypriots will indeed thank us for wiping CYPRUS OF THE MAP.

What I am saying is that if you are the majority as you claim then why cant you unite the country? obviously you have opposition who do not share your views and have control of the situation. Have you ever considered there is no cure for cancer and that allowing the patient to live out his last days in honour is better than forcing medications which you know will not have any result but could cause more pain than relief.

i don't think it can happen. the greeks hold too much of a grudge, from what i can see on this forum. they appear to enjoy playing the part of the whiney little martyrs. sorry, but that is my impression for alot of the posts i have read.

I agree as well and I truely believe the GCs do not want a solution, their actions do not support their declarations.

About what actions are you talking about???

The "RoC" could take steps to support the Cypriots in the north by allowing direct flights and trade.

Allow Gcs to freely without fear apply to the property commission for property rights.

Negoatiate the settlers and army issues and the procedure moving forward.

These spring to mind, this would allow the level playing field I go on about.

Support the direct flights??? I must be crazy to do that. To accept an illegal country that is controlled by the occupant of my country??? Is that what you asking me to do?
