PS I’ve now painted it to match the outside of the house – it looks much better.

I mean that sounds ok for what it is.... also you can get those portable gas ones, they cost probably similar price (well ok, prob should be less in cyprus).... bear in mind this one cyprusgrump has posted looks like "the mother of all barbecues" as in you could open your own restaurant if you had one of those installed!

I have seen one of the bbq's in the picture outside a builders merchant in Grivas Digheni.
Go from the first roundabout from Larnaca take the first exit and head into the town centre, this road leads into Grivas Digheni; there are several DIY shops etc. on this road i'm sure you'll find what you want.

Dunno about £600 though, seems a lot to me!!

It’s about 2,000Kg of brick and concrete – some of the parts needed three of us to lift them. For what it is I think it’s a reasonable price. It is a bit expensive if you just want to cook a couple of sausages though…

I drove between Kolossi through Ipsonas today and noticed a buiders merchant on the right hand side that had quite a few stone BBQ's outside. the shop is before you get to the big Ellinas DIY.
