Question for the Partitionist...

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Question for the Partitionist...

Postby Kikapu » Mon Feb 19, 2007 9:12 pm

Don't all raise your hands all at once. I think Pro Partitionist VP should get to answer first, then you can all follow his lead.

So Viewpoint, please tell us, from where we are today, how will "you" achieve the following, by taking 37% of Cyprus

a) Partition
b) Annexation by Turkey

The question really is, and I'm being very sincere, because I really do not know, as to what events needs to happen or not to happen, either by the "TRNC" or the RoC for the above to happen, and what time period are we talking about. Please be specific, and don't just say, well, if we don't get what we want, we will go our own merry way. That really is no answer. So, please be very, very specific.

Please everyone, lets keep the insults and all the Bravado out of this one, because I need to know exactly, how the " Partition / Annexation Blueprint" is drawn.

Thanking you all in advance.

Kikapu....have you checked whether the TRNC Information Office is on strike or not???The multitudes of Viewpoints are very silent on your question.Or do you think the Head Viewpoint is perhaps on flex leave...? :D :D

Oh ... OK, I'll break the ice, and this is stating a reality not giving a preferred option.

Unless people climb down from wanting 100% or a return to a semi-mythical past where you chose your own dates and facts, partition will be achieved through the following steps:

1. Unthinkable by the majority (well past this stage)
2. Accepted as a fact of life by all but a hard-core (Probably about here now)
3. Preferred as the status quo by all save a shrinking band (many think we are here)
4. Accepted as the way things are by all but a few fringe elements.

Time scale? Well from 1 to 2/3 was 30 years. So, from 2/3 to 4 maybe 30-50 years, when all those old enough to know about the events of 63-74 will have died, and the fringe elements wanting an end to the actual partition that exists will have about the same grasp on reality as monarchists trying to put long deposed Royal families back on the thrones of Eastern Europe.

Bir,

I should have checked my calender, because for all I know, today may be a public holiday for the PARTITIONIST, celebrating the partition, that has not happened or have any idea, how to achieve it.

OK, let's open this question to VP and all the other 65% of all the "TRNCians", who wants Partition. But please, read the question again and be very specific, how "you" will achieve a Partition.

@ Observer,

Your answer went right over my head, as to how the Partition will be achieved. Were there any explanations of events needed or not needed to happen to reach getting a Partition. If there were, like I said, it went right over my head. Sorry.

Where's VP, when you really need him, to explain things to us. :?:

Kikapu sorry but you will be waiting for years I think.
VP has an established record of refusals to reply.
I lost track of how many times VP just refused to answer my questions despite my repeatitive reminders...

Kikapu,
Can you clarify your question a little bit,so you don't get answers like Observer's. Correct me if I am wrong but, you are asking how will Turkey make the Partition or Annexation recognised by the World( UN/EU/USA etc),is that right?

But this should be a easy question for him to answer, don't you think. :?:

He lives this stuff, so I want to learn something from him for a change.

I want to know, what does the "Partition Blueprint" looks like. If anyone ought to know, it would be VP, Zan and perhaps mrfromng and Shahmaran.
