 HA HA HA HA HA....I can just imagine. Ive heard you shouldnt wake people up if they are sleepwalking though because you could scare them to death.

And believe you me BK I wish I was making it all up, I havent been able to sleep properly since. Its just not a very pleasent experience, like I said though it's common for people to feel like there is another presence in the room so I try to convince myself its a state of sleep rather than something paranormal.

Seeing this picture on the sleep paralysis page of wikipedia didnt help though:

what about trying to read a textbook for a sleeping aid? something really taxing on the brain? shuts mine down immediately!

but since we are discussing sleep, i have a strange change in my sleeping patterns since i had some major surgery two and a half years ago. since then, i remember my dreams every night. before i was lucky to remember one or two a week, and now i remember them all. i always thought you had to wake up during a dream to remember it, so i am not sure if this means i am not sleeping deeply enough? also, i wake myself up several times a week now becuase i also talk in my sleep, whereas before i only talked in my sleep if i was under a considerable amount of pressure. and to top it off, now my dreams tend to continue. i can wake up during a nightmare, get up and go to the bathroom, and then go back to sleep, and the damn dreams continues. that part is really not good at all....i HATE when that happens.

was that meant for me? since you are mentioning american fast food chains, i assume that was for me??? the answer is NO! i don't eat fast food. i eat lots of fruits and veggies. i almost died when i had that surgery...it was lung surgery...i really eat a healthy diet since then, and get lots of exercise. and i am self employed, so i don't have alot of stress in my life.

No nothing of all this things for a long time now...as I forbidden even to my whole family to eat this stuff!!

drinking many cups of Coffee a day ? Maybe this is the reason.

Yes sometimes I do but not that much...only in exams period! I dont have exams anymore so...and when I have this kind of problems I avoid coffee anyway. But believe me I notice that during periods that i drink coffee i can sleep more easy than period that I dont drink at all. I am not addicted to coffee although I really enjoy it!!!

My dear michalis...stress, anxiety, depression, fear etc are the reasons for this kind of problems. We are talking about serious thing here. If you drink coffee and eat unhealthy you might lost your sleep for a night or 2 but when you are really tired you can manage to sleep. Here we talk about being tired...exhausted...you want to sleep but you can not. Even when you manage to fall asleep you wake up in an hour or so...and you can fall asleep again. Or even worst sometimes even that hour or two you wake up so many time...that you want to hit your head or something...so you will passed out and manage to sleep.
