Sometimes I'm asleep by the time I've taken the 5th breath. Try it you'll be amazes.
This method is apparently widely used in UK prisons.

What if you fall asleep just after you've exhaled and held your breath, and you die from lack of oxygen???

I woke up and felt like I was still dreaming but I was half awake, I couldnt move, I was trying so hard to shake myself out of it, I tried to shout to my mum but nothing but air came out and I felt like someone was in the room with me but I couldnt turn my head round to see.
I dont know if you've ever been told stories about "karabasan" or "Jin" Bk but since having the paralysis I feel so bad for laughing at the stories the grannies in Cyprus used to tell me.
I read some research on it and apparently its really common for people to feel as though theres someone else in the room but its because you're not fully awake. When its actually happening its not like you can say to yourself "oh its ok" though because you're in this dreamy daze...confused and scared!!
Everytime I get into bed now I get all anxious and it takes me upto a good 2-3 hours to sleep. My doctor said its all due to stress but after that experience I dont really look forward to sleeping.
