we shipped our pajero lwb over in 2005 at a cost of nearly 2000£ by container! worst thing we ever did.government said we had to apply to nicosia for duty free entitlement and that meant around 50 pieces of paper etc and 12 months later still waiting for descision so shipped it back again.iff we had to pay duty they wanted 12500 for a 92 vehicle worth in uk around 3000 max!!! we also had to pay in excess of cy£28 per month for it and had we kept it we would have had to pay around 1800cy£ to get it registered on cyprus plates. our experience was horrific and our advice would be dont bring your car until cyprus observe the legalities of being in the eu!!!
