Anybody going to the big Carnival parade in Limassol today?

Yes! Hope it doesn't rain. Our party of 6 has booked a table at a restaurant on the route. It is outside but under cover.
Last year was such a beautiful day it will be a pity if it is ruined by rain!

The parade this year was better than last year I think

This year we went to the Ayios Nikoloas roundabout where it starts. A lot of people went even if the weather was cloudy and it even rained a bit!

i watched it at the apolon area. i just went on and on for ages

The best place to watch the parade is actually were Lanitio is. Thats were all the officials are and the TV. So the groups do all their acts and dancing the best there

Thought the parade was great. We had lunch and then watched it all. Only a few drops of rain right at the end, but then it stopped.
Went to the Castle last night with some friends. Wonderful atmosphere lots of fun and dancing and not a bottle or can of alcohol in sight on the streets. (Unlike UK) At least 50% of people were dressed up and we enjoyed sitting at a restaurant and watching them all!
