I have renewed my cars on line - fantasically easy, well done the Department of Transport. but they are too new for MOT; I think you have to quote the MOT number, otherwise there can be no enforcement of testing.
I paid our Car Tax online yesterday and was only asked for the vehicle registration, some ID (passport or logbook will suffice), the name of the Insurance company and Policy number.
It was a doddle.
Did you try to log onto the site and see if it asks for your MOT details?
Sotos I'd get your MOT done ASAP
Should you decide to sell the purchaser will require it MOT'd anyway
Plus is it worth getting caught by police for What wont cost a lot of money?
Also maybe if you had an accident or anything would your insurance pay up as technically you would be driving an illegal vehicle?
Sotos wrote:thanks! I will go to pay online now then Should I rush with the MOT thing or the police never checks anyways? whats the fine if you don't do the MOT?
I dont really know whats the fine exactly but YES you should rush because they cheque for that as well as if you renew your road tax!!!
