Friend of mine failed to pay Road Tax online because of expired MOT. System gave him message "MOT expired' and refused to accept his payment.

thanks! I will go to pay online now then Should I rush with the MOT thing or the police never checks anyways? whats the fine if you don't do the MOT?

Judging by the amount of smoky wrecks driving around the island with no lights or simply falling apart it is clear that the police give little attention to the state of the vehicles MoT.

Mine are up-to-date by the way.

There is no a fix fine but a court decision. I paid 50 CYP , friend of mine 90 CYP

I have paid my tax few months ago on line and I didnt need my MOT...but I had to do that anyway for the police and everything!!!!

i remember you were saying that you were in russia or somewhere.

you can pay the road tax in bank of cyprus. just take the insurance papers and you can get the road tax done.
