Are you sure of the figure 100.000? I asked a prominent and politically involved TC chap about this recently and was told there were about 40.000 TC's in the UK.
BTW, all my family and friends have signed this petition. I emailed friends around the world to do the same.
My question to you is, have you signed it? Would you like direct flights to the TRNC?
Thank you in advance for your honest answer.
Doesn't the children of Cypriots count as Cypriot in the UK, who have been born there.?
No, I did not signed it mrfromng. First of all, I have not seen it, secondly, it will not help solve the Cyprus problem, but instead, it will prolong it at the present course, which in the long run, it will not benefit the Turkish Cypriots in Cyprus. Once we agree on a lasting solution, we can have anything we want openly, and not through the "back door", at the pity of others.
Chris Davies, an Englishman. Thousands of TC's, all our politicians are giving a struggle for this basic, fundamental right to have direct flights to our country.
Here you are thousands of miles away, haven't been back home in 40 years and you have the audacity to refuse signing the petition and furthermore you go as far as to say it would be damaging in the long run for a peaceful solution and this would be achieved through the "back door". For fucks sake, the "front door" has been slammed in our face all our lives. How thick is your skin?
You my friend, talk out of your backside.
