This incredible spectacle takes place in Versoix, a town close to Geneva City, Switzerland

The water in the background is the Leman Lake

Absolutely beautiful - like sculptures that no human hand could ever make. Nature is truly magnificent. Thanks

Actually, these same pictures were emailed to me last year by a Swiss friend living in San Francisco. I do not know when these pictures were take, but they are not from this Winter, since we hardly had Winter this year. We had some snow couple of weeks ago, around the country, but that was it.

My girlfriend and I spent last weekend at a place called "Zermat", which is a lovely town, at the foot of "Matterhorn", and even there, there was very little snow, until we took a special train to go up to about the 3,000 meters elevation, to see some "real" snow, because the snow at "Zermat" at 1,800 meters level had what I call an "Indian Snow", you know, "a patchy here and a patchy there"

...Sorry, I could not resist that one.
