I don't of this one JK but my mum makes the best date & walnut cake I have ever tasted. If interested I can ask her for the recipe tomorrow and send it to you.

Thanks turkish_cypriot and kafenes, for your replies, would love to have the recipe you have, been on the discovery web site and you have to pay for the recipes, have also been looking if there is a book available but can't find one.
