I want to know why the British Cypriots have not had any information either in the newspapers or from the Government on where they stand with regard to the forced occupation of our home.
Last year I visited my villiage and saw the broken cross of my grandfathers grave, I was allowed to go to my house and also my three cousins went to their house but we were not allowed to enter in. I am one of eight children I have Greek Cypriot friends and we are all at a loss at the inertia shown with regard to mobilising a support network for us. It is possible for my neighbour in London to go and live in my house but I as a Greek Cypriot who owns the property also as a British Subject am penalised from entering my property, going to my village church and seeing my relatives in their homes.
I do not agree with Direct Flights to Northern Cyprus as more people will go and steal our homes and land.
I do not agree with the Annan Plan as it discriminates against the owners of property and land in favour of userpers who have obtained the land illegal through terrorising the population. Both my aunts who were caught up in trouble have died well before their time, their children are dispossessed people they now have children of their own who could have built and lived in their villiages. The U.N. resolution say the Turkish Troups should withdraw. Why are they still there? If we cannot have access to our homes and land they we should have the same amound in the southern part of Cyprus.
