I`m taking a trip to Cyprus next Summer, with or without my boyfriend. He`s quite close to his mother, so he might not leave so easily.

Good news, perhaps we may meet somewhere in Cyprus, the summer time.

That's bad. It seems like a threat upon your close relation. Nevertheless if you love him as he is, there would be no problem for you.[/quote]

It would be good if he could come, I`ve been teaching him Cypriot Turkish expressions (not just the rude ones) that he would be able to practise.

Even though we communicate in French, we try to speak in Turkish sometimes. He wants to learn about everything about Cyprus.

I over-heard him the other day, he was in the bath room and he must have banged his head against the towel rail or something, he said "beytambal galsin!"

Sometimes I wish I never taught him Cyprus Turkish, because sometimes he uses it against me.

Every time we are discussing something and he doesn`t agree with me, he starts off his sentence with "gotunundeligi, when did I say that?"
