He is... specific. Not exactly blaaaaah because the guy is obviously talented. So, I believe it is a matter of personal preferences

Agree. However, "Veronica must die" ......utter tosh! Disappointing ending. "I laid down by the river and wept", also pretty dismal.

The Alchemist is in a class of it's own. Difficult for writers to find a second best seller.

The Alchemist is like The Little Prince, a children's book but a classic!
