My advice is: Never bet except if it once a while for fun! You will always lose money except if you know very very good what you are doing. And if you know such things very very good it means you are a loser. Get a real job and stop wasting your time with nonsense!

Bit harsh Sotos my man, I'm sure RaceFan is adult enough to make his/her own decisions about gambling without having to listen to you go all moral on him/her!

Thank you for your openminded views Pete. Luckily I am adult enough not to put down others and judge people who I have never met or bothered to get to know. Obviously the Reverand SOTOS is Mr sqeaky clean ( I bet there's a few skeletons in that cupboard ). Horse Racing is a SPORT, enjoyed by millions around the world, and although I don't encourage anyone to lose more than they can afford, I do appreciate that all social activity costs money. My Dad has a bet on the horses every day while he is in the UK, although he doesn't do it online as he has no idea about how to work his mobile phone properly - never mind a computer.

He has an account in the UK - so he just places a bet by phone (we always have a spare mobile and sim card for when we have visitors). The number is permanently in the memory for him but it would be great if someone could set up a UK horse racing system in Cyprus. I'm sure there must be lots of other ex-pats who miss their flutter on the track.

Please don't be fooled into joining these Racing syndicates that will just take your membership fee and give you 'tips' that are shared with thousands of others in Racing newspapers ( they normally lose anyway ).
