Hi Simon,

Sorry we are not able to send private messages yet. Yes we bought ours through Interlink. We received photos in Oct/Nov. I sent an e-mail a few days ago and they said they are hoping to go to Pissouri next week so hopefully we will receive some more photos then. What block have you bought in? When are you hoping to visit? We are going out in May for 2 weeks and hopefully over Christmas and new year to take delivery if it is ready.

Its great to meet our neighbour.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Hello Neighbour!

We bought from Interlink too and dealt with Andreas. I emailed him abit ago but he seems to have gone AWOL!!! Interlink are based just up the road from us, where are you guys from?

I have some pictures from back in December he sent so cant wait to see the work theyve done since.

We are in C Block, what about you? We are also over in a few months, May or June to pick tiles and stuff. Just sorting the flights now. We are definatley going out in December, hopefully it will all be done then so we can crack open the bubbly!!!

What are you doing about furniture?

Cheers
Simon

Hi,

We are in block E. How many times have you been to Pissouri?, we have only been once in March. We are going over in May for two weeks to pick tiles etc (we booked flights with fly Thomas Cook). We are from Wallasey (not far from Liverpool) Where are you from? We have not thought about the furniture packages yet although we have looked at a few websites and thought we could go around the shops in May and get some ideas.
Do you plan to be away for Christmas as well? we will go as soon as it is ready, BA have really cheap flights for when we want to go, but cannot be sure if it will be ready in time and the flight prices will keep going up!

Hi Kate

We have been there just twice. I went over last May to find a place and just loved the place - its very relaxed and the views from the apartments are fantastic. I then went back last September with my girlfriend, fortunately for me she also loves Pissouri!. So I take it you haven't been to the Cypriot night in the square? We went, and it was very good - the next morning we suffered a little though :)

BA have some cheap flights yes.

We're not going to take there furniture package offer. We're going to go into Limassol and choose things - it should be cheaper doing this aswell I think.

We live in Shrewsbury.

Tell me, did Andreas take you for a meal at a restaurant in the Square?

Hi,

We have not been to a Cyprus night in Pissouri yet so really looking forward it. We have been to Cyprus several times before but stayed in Coral Bay. We just had drinks in the square with Andreas, but we had lunch down in the hotel in the bay. We went back the next day ourselves, had a meal at Vraka's and had good look around the village, we have taken lots of photos of what the view will be like. Cannot wait, really excited. I think we will end up just buying furtniture from shops that way we will get exactly what we want. Will probably have a look round in May when we are there and compare prices then.

Hi K&L

Is yours a one or a two bed ? Ours in just a one, couldnt quite stretch to a two. I had a look around Paphos but I didnt really like them, plus its too built up now isnt it. I think we have chosen the nicest place in whole of Cyprus!!!

Are you moving there or is it just for holidays?

Hi Simon

We were the same, could only stretch to a one-bedroom. Shame really because the penthouses looked lovely!!!! We are going to put a sofa-bed in our living area.

We also think Pissouri was just what we were looking for, nice and quiet and traditional but with a few different bars to choose from, although we look forward to enjoying drinks on the balcony with the views we will have and the sound of the crickets etc. Are you on the first floor or a ground floor?

Its great that somebody else is buying in the same place and is just as excited!!

Hi

Tell me about it, I just wish I could fast forward the next 9 or 10 months!!! We are on the first floor, I think its safer and abit more private, plus you get better views. Is your other half as excited as you are?

Karaoke bars, fish and chips isnt really our scene either. We like the culture thing too.

Andreas said there are Cypriots, French and Russians who have bought so its nice to know there are English there aswell.

How many times have you been to Cyprus then?

Regards
Simon

Hi Simon

We prefer the traditional thing, the locals seem friendlier than those in the clubby areas.

My other half is just as excited, he is on line with me now. We have been to Cyprus 4 times and cannot fault the place. We were very pleased with Interlink, they weren't pushy and left us to decide ourselves.

We have bought as a holiday home for now, but you never know!! How about you? Just can't wait for the low-cost airlines to start flying to Cyprus more regularly so we can go more often.

Hi

They werent pushy with us either, they waited for us for nearly five months. We had the apartment on hold whilst we sold our house, which took sometime. Andreas never hassled me at all really.

We will move out there but not yet. When we do, I want be doing much in the way of work I tell you!! :) Give it another 5 or 10 years then maybe yes. We need to start paying some of the mortgage off first though :o(

We stayed down in at the Columbia Hotel for one night, blimey its very nice down there. A tad pricey, £9 for 2 gin and tonics. A little too posh for us aswell.
