As so many people on this forum like to point out that North Cyprus or the TRNC doesn't exist. CTA is registered in Turkey hence the TC registration and flag. I like the picture though its an old one. CTA doesn't fly the Airbus 310-200 series anymore. Cyprus Airways use too fly this model as well. You mean both the Greeks and Turks have flown the same aircraft type. Oh its too controversial for words.
That's obvious!
CTA has no other choice but to register her aircraft under the Turkish Civil Aviation Department. This is because the "trnc" does not have its own Civil Aviation Authority that can be recognised under the Chicago Convention. Only legitimate states are recognised by ICAO.
As a result CTA would not be allowed to fly into the airspace of a foreign jurisdiction if the aircraft are not legally registered under a recognised authority. Turkey has a recognised authority whilst the "trnc" does not.....
It's like watching a vegetable growing in your allotment.....You are at budding stage re Paphitis.....A few more months and you will be ready for plucking....
Pipe down Zanny. First it was the laxatives overdoses which causes me to melt my mouse scroller whenever you post the Akritas Plan, and now you intend sticking some of my home truths in your pipe and smoking them.
You are so far behind the rest of the debate here Paphitis that it just makes me feel old...
You are like a teenager going out to the city and bright lights for the first time....I am on a high on the fumes of your excitement....Be careful though....There are a lot of bad people out there and drugs.....It could taint you for ever.....
Is that the debate about you TCs fantasising that somehow you will achieve the right of having your own regulatory aviation body and jurisdiction recognised by ICAO which would then allow direct international flights? Too much hashish for you methinks.
Don't be startled by the noise in the sky when it happens Paphitis.....
The noise of numerous international direct flights is something I am accustomed to, and something which will never happen in the "trnc".
