If thats true, then of course having sex with underage boys is not right, BUT, kemal Ataturk also did an awful lot of good. He GAVE women the vote before England did AND without them having to fight for it like they had to do in England and most of the rest of Europe. He gave them the modern western alphabet and removed religion from politics No Bishops or the equevelant in power in Turkey, unlike Greece and Cyprus. Is this really the WORST you can come up with? Any prominent political figure can be learnt about in school - theres nothing wrong in that, but teaching to hate and harbour revenge IS WRONG. Tess

This study succeeds where others fail because it dares to take on the myth and the legend of Kemal Attaturk, a figure revered in Turkey (it is illegal and a crime to criticize him in print or on the internet in Turkey). This study discusses in detail Attaturk's voracious homosexual appetite, his taste for young boys, particularly Greek, Jewish and Armenian under the age of 14, and his male lover who lived with him until his death in 1938, a national hero and legend.

Pyro again you miss the point and try to shoot the messenger just because he is Turkish what I am saying is let people read the book you suggest and other material allow them to research their own sources and make up their own minds but don't ram your own official truths down people throats. If you keep telling children at an impressionable age that all GCs are bastards and your enemy without encouraging them to meet GCs and find out for themselves then you have left an unrepairable scaring on that young mind, who knows you to may have gone through this process that is why you automatically and systematically demote and ridicule Turks and TCs at every opportunity. Why the hell you want to reunite if we are so bad is beyond me. Must be land and power.

pitsilos wrote:why are lattifas letters out of bounds? the way i see it by being out of bounds ataturk's story is not really on the up and up. some people claim he liked young boys.

one thing is for sure, if anything good is in these letters, i don't doubt it for a minute they would have been part of the text books.

same question in case you missed
