Hi Kate and Lee, Block E is starting to take shape isnt it, were you told when it would be ready ? It looks to me to be about half completed, was it like that when you went in May ? Also no news really on block F except that it should be started soon and they say is still at a completion date of around Feb 08.
And no didnt go to the Cyprus night as we stayed in Limassol this time around and only went to Pissouri for the day, decided to stay and visit another bit of the island for a change

Regards

Louis

Hi Louis

Don't blame you for not wanting to rent it out. Its not worth the hassle in my eye and I don't like the thought of someone I don't know in my property. Family and friends are ok, but strangers, no thanks!!!!

Do you know any one else who has bought from the development?

Regards
Simon

ps I like your forum name! :)

Kate, having problems at my end sending you a pm, anyway, we have been advised that block F has slipped by 2 months and will now be ready April 08 so a couple of months after yours, at least our block is now under way and looks to be coming along nicely at last judging by the pics I was sent Regards Louis

Update

Postby gintonic » Wed Aug 29, 2007 2:29 pm

Hi Simon, hope you are ok

We were over in June and block F had hardly been started it just had some foundations in BUT a week or so ago I was sent an update by Andreas with some pics and they had been going at it in leaps and bounds as it was starting to take shape and we had some actual building works, the ground floor was well under way and some of the supporting pillars were in.

Anyway when we were there in June blocks abcd were (or looked like to me anyway) well under way and looked as if they would be finished well before end of the year, block e was about half completed and Kate has now said that they have been told that it should be ready in Feb 08 ( i think they were told Dec 07 at some stage but this seems to have slipped just like ours has).

What I meant to ask you and/or Kate&Lee is did you realise that another complex (villas I think) are being built on the other side of the road right outside our development (by this I mean where our back views are looking up to the hillside not out to sea) .I was surprised when I went in June that these were well under way and are outside blocks abcd if I remember correctly. Hopefully they are just villas so will not spoil the views of people in these blocks.

Regards

Louis

Thanks Cyprusgrump, apologies for not popping in back in June. I wasn't too good the first couple of days and we were only there for 6 days!

Hi,

We are very pleased with the progress so far and have started to look for our furniture. Thank you for taking the photo Cyprusgrump. Simon have you been given a completion date yet?
I went on Interlink's website a few months ago and found out about the other development. I paniced abit at first until we went out in May and realised it was behind us not in front.

Hi Kate

Where have you gone for furniture?

We have seen a few sites but none of them have any prices!!!

Not had the date come through yet. Andreas said he would be in touch this month to confirm things so we can book flights etc.

Don't worry about the development, its behind you!!! :)

Best r's

Hi,

We have not bought any furniture yet, just been looking so far. I have emailed a few people like Steptoes, Venus, Cyprus furniture warehouse and Konikkos. I know what I am looking for but it is difficult to explain in an e-mail. We may just going shopping when we get there, but it would be nice to have it all sorted before. Have you been looking for furniture yet? When do you hope to book the flights for? christmas?

Furniture

Postby gintonic » Mon Sep 10, 2007 3:14 pm

Hi Kate and Lee/Simon

Just nosing at your conversation re furniture and we looked in Steptoes/Venus etc when we were there last and Steptoes are cheaper but in my opinion it depends what you are looking for as the furniture in Venus looks a bit better standard so I suppose you get what you pay for! We found that the best place to go and look around is Tala Village as the main street has at a guess 50 furniture shops of different styles. If you have a few bob then Tala furniture village has some lovely furniture ( I think Tala Furniture Village is the name of the shop itself) and do some great packages or you can get cheaper options at many of the other stores there. See you all soon neighbours !!!! Louis
