Hi all,

I understand that many things are not up to standard but we have had 2 customers ( 1 week and 2 weeks) out to the apartment and both were full of praise for the development, Although the second couple did mention the bins not being there. My Brother is also there at the moment and he thinks the place is great. I have spoken to him daily and the only negative he has mentioned was was a small group of what appeared to be owners from the comlpex moaning around the pool area. He felt that had he been a customer he said he felt this would be a little unsettling.

Fortuntely it was your brother! This was the first time we have been out to the complex and it was supposed to be complete at the end of march. I'm sure that if it was your first visit you might have had a moan considering we are paying a large maintenance fee and nothing is being done. If your brother was the person I think he was how did he feel about having to use his own loungers and being unable to go in the pool because the water was green and full of flies?

Hiya

He was ok about taking down the loungers and he never mentioned the pool until I asked him and he only said he was brave enough to get in as it was too cold, no mention of the cleanliness.

Hi David

Our gripe with the pool was that there were 6 children on the complex and both ourselves and other owners felt it was unsafe for them to use the pool due to it not being cleaned at all during our stay. It went from beautiful turquoise on the day we arrived to pea green by the time we left. We spoke to Interlink about the pool everyday and their response was that it had been cleaned. We know it wasn't the case because we were there all the time. On a positive note hopefully the new pool contractors will know what they are doing!

I was only brave enough to go in it once.... it was cold!

Hi Sarah,

sorry we are not trying to be negative we can only say what our customers have told us and as we havn't been out there since February we really can't comment ourselves on the pool. My Parents in Law were out there a few weeks ago (I think you met them) and they did comment on the pool aswell. At least something seems to be getting sorted now and hopefully it will be a huge improvment.

You may want to compile a agreed list of things that are not completed and need attention. Nominate a person to either email, or speak to the Limassol office. If these jobs are not completed, forward your request to the UK office, for the attention of Sarah Morgan (yes Paul is not well, but Sarah will get the ball rolling).
Re: maintenance, I think you will find, the vast majority of builds in Cyprus, work on pools and garden maintenance are sub contracted out, as there seems to be nobody permantly on site (living there ) keeping an eye on these contractors is not an easy job. A caretaker for the future maybe a good option ?
