I think you will find Simon that the Sky anytime service will require the user to access via a UK IP address much the same as BBC, ITV and 4 on demand does.
As you can't legally receive Sky broadcasts in Cyprus due to their licencing agreement it would make sense for them to restrict internet streaming of their programs too.
Whilst they can't stop you receiving Sky in Cyprus as long as you pay from a UK address and don't tell them where you actuall are they can restrict internet access to UK IP addresses only very easily and will do this to prevent you viewing from somewhere out side of their licencing agreements.
Notice the service is advertised as Sky
"anytime" and not
"anywhere"
I suppose it can be done via a proxy server though but is cyta's excuse for a internet service good enough
