Okay…

There is no mains sewage in the village so they either have a septic tank come cesspit arrangement that just drains into the soil or they have a ‘bio plant’ that does some clever pre-processing before draining the waste into the soil.

The ‘Sunrise’ development next to yours has a big bio plant that hums away all day as do some of the other larger developments in the village.

I’m assuming that some of the high charges you are facing may be to cover the cost of running/maintaining the bio plant… :?

Hi all , this forum has become quite enjoyable reading even though these problems will affect us all ! I suppose we shouldnt be surprised that these problems have come up, it is Cyprus we are all going to after all !

A couple of points though, I believe someone on here said that the maintenance fees are more than we expected (or was told ) even though we now have less "private" ground on our complex than we all thought. Seems a bit unfair doesnt it ?

As some of you have said there will be no BBQ included - were you told there would be as we were never told this, the only mention of it is in the contract but it does only state BBQ paved area NOT the BBQ itself !

Kate and Lee,Simon,David - I will pm you on another matter

Louis

I think it was an assumption there would be a BBQ as in the brochure pictures there is one next to the prep area.

We were also told by Andreas that there would be chairs tables parasols etc around the pool. Was anyone else told this??

David.

The brochures probably showed cars in the car ports too?

During ‘negotiations’ one day our own developer pointed out to us one day that our house plans had two BMWs in the garage – “You don’t expect us to give you those as well do you?”

We were told that the outdoor furniture and loungers will be provided as they wanted to keep it all matching.
