Public healthcare, which may not be quite the same as healthcare in your native country. Hospital stays, to a degree, rely on your family and friends coming to look after you and that 'takeaway' Souvlaki, makes areal mess of the bedsheets!

I wouldn't agree with that- I have been to see specialists when tablets I need to take were stolen (along with my handbag) and even stayed in hospital. Yes, the food is different and the meals could do with being slightly further apart (8am, 12pm and 4pm dinner?!) but you are in a different country after all. When I was admitted to hospital I had a chest x-ray and ecg as conditions of admission- and I got all the printouts, xrays and medical notes to take away with me back to the UK! I can't say I enjoyed my stay (in hospital?!) but it wasnt as bad as i feared!

Are you saying that you didn't have to pay for anything ?.

Was it all covered by the card, or did claim on insurance ?.
