are you being serious here? this not a representative sample its just a % of how many people read each newspaper. What KADEM have done is taken a random sample which is international practice. Instead of analyzing why 65% are more in favor of a 2 state solution you are shooting the messenger and the form of transport.

Why don't you tell us, just exactly what KADEM asked in his survey.

If you say, "he asked, do you want 2 states or not", then it would be very misleading survey.

You yourself use the same term here, implying to the unwary, that you want a 2 state solution living in one country. You never say, I want 2 countries in Cyprus, unless I pushed you.

In any case, whats the point of such a survey. I'm surprised it is not 96.8% and not a measly 65%, since me and Bir only represent 3.2%.!! I would be very surprised if most people in Cyprus, and I mean everyone, True TC's and Settlers, know the difference between a "Republic", "Federation", "Confederacy" or a "Parliamentary" system. You got hand full of self made politicians using the people for their own gain, with their ignorance.

If you tell a person who is being polled, "listen, if you vote for a 2 state solution ( Partition in disguise ), then you can continue living on the Greek land, that was given to you, otherwise, you will lose it, if we have a Unification. Further more, you will be sent back to Turkey, because there won't be any place for you and your family to live on Cyprus. You may even be arrested, for living on Greek Land". The Settlers are being used, so that they can keep their "promised land", if they vote for Partition. There may also be some TC's in this category, who had land exchange with their own land in the RoC, or just simply bought more Greek Land, cheap.

So Mr. Village Propagandist, just because you can play "mind games" with the ignorant, don't try the same here, because it will not work. It's about time, you teach your community to respect other peoples properties, respect the law, respect world opinion, respect the people who live on the island, and most of all, teach them, so that they can earn respect from others, and not be seen as "Ali Baba and the 40 thieves". What ever poll is taken, it can all be twisted to give you the results you want. I bet I can set up set of questions to the same people, and get the results I want.
