Not surprised that you cannot read through the lines and you interpreted the notion "enemy" literally. You are my enemy in terms of your ideology and way of thinking and not someone I want to harm. But again how stupid of me to not have thought that you will once again twist things and present them as it suits your cause. It is views like these (from both sides) that have destroyed our country...and all these to the benefit of motherland Turkey and co.

Quoting what happend is not promoting hatred on its own, its the spin and twist that goes with it that is propaganda. I am sure that if a TC kid decides to beat a GC kid because they argued about who is going to play a game first, people with the same agenda as you will jump again and say "see what happens when we mix? better to stay apart!"

In the past nationalist from both sides played this game - TMT even went as far as bombing a TC shop (property?) in order to blame the other side and spread propaganda that led to intercommunal fights in nicosia - as a result the green line split my home town in two sectors - and don't ask me for independent sources this time - all you have to do is search for Denktash's admittance of the insidence.

As for Tpap he is an elected president and what makes you so sure that pressure is not applied to him - there is pressure and quite a lot to get back to negotiations, this is provided that Talat and Turkey agree. But I do not think that any GC will ever apply pressure to Tpap to recognise trnc and to allow direct flights.

Look askimwos you appear to be a level headed individual and I would like to express to you that my views are not that far from the average TC. As you know when we meet face to face people from both sides are very polite and cordial they very rarely disclose their true feelings or ideals for fear of hurting or upseting the other side. This forum allows us the opportunity to bring down those barriers and express our true thoughts, concerns and fears. If I quote facts as I see them and these make you feel uncomfortable then rather than attacking me surely you should question what it is you are doing that has this impact on the other side or alternatively try to clarify the situation without using degrading and belittling rhetoric.

Also for the record and your information the TCs view Papadop as you view Denktas, so any solution with him in the equation would be a non starter, once you get rid of him and elect someone who can even stomach sitting opposite a TC leader is the day we move forward. Otherwise he is taking you all on merry ride to nowhere which you will have see sooner or later.

Ok you want recognition before anything else but you want and unification eventually. But after all, the light of a unified Cyprus is very dim for you and you are not holding your breath for that. Thank God, by the way, we don’t want any more deaths for the Cyprus problem. But can you explain me please how after the recognition of the “TRNC” as a country you will come back to tell us that the only thing that you ever dreamed was the unified Cyprus? And since you don’t see that light of the unification but also you don’t really wait for that, how much do you want the unified Cyprus exactly???

and about the recognition, I have to say (as i always do ) i am quite and evolutionist and i just believe in human nature, i believe that 2 decent nations on a tiny piece of land will eventually see that unification is nothing but logical and natural (as it is globally), that is why i dont think the GCs should see our demand for recognition as a definitive solution nor as a threat.

Can you decide please! What exactly do you want? You want unification or recognition!!!! First you say that you want unification…then you want recognition first of all…then you believe that we are going to live eventually in a unified Cyprus…then you don’t hold your breath about that…then….come on Shahmaran…decide…we are felling dizzy here. VP…why is so difficult for you to understand few things? We don’t hate you…I don’t know about you…but we don’t. We don’t hide our feelings even if it’s a forum or a supermarket…just you don’t talk about political matters when you see someone in the street.
