3.2% of Turkish Cypriots feel they are just Cypriots

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Ok you asked for my attention again my dear Shahmaran...well lets try to go back to school.... when we talk about % we mean that the whole number is equal with 100. ok? So lets take away 40.3% who feel Turkish and Cypriots, 3.2% feel Cypriots ... how that makes us? Ok lets dont overuse your brain...[100 - (40.3+3.2)]=56.5

Why only 4.4% believe they feel Turkish? My maths I think are correct! So more than 50% dont feel Cypriots at all...

Can any of you Shahmaran or VP explain to me why we hate you and we dont want you and we want to kill you and we...bla bla bla ...and you want one country, you believe that we are compatriots, you are right and we are wrong. We tried you unfair and as minority.

And when I ask Shahmaran if he consider himself as a Turk one I insult him. If I told him that they dont consider us as compatriots and they dont want to live with us...I am racist. Ok Shahmaran can you explain me all this now that I am here?

By the way sorry for the delay I was busy!!!!

Lena i dont know what you are talking about but i will explain myself more clearly, i was just pointing out the fact that only %3.2 feel Cypriot and the rest feel Turkish AND Cypriot, since you were so quick to seperate Turkishness and Cypriotness from the TCs (!!) and very naievely claim you dont feel Greek at all and that we are ALL Cypriots, it just shows that hardly anyone in the North feels the same way as you do, do you still want to live with us??

For the greek speaking Cypriots here is an article from Sener Levent about the KADEM poll and all the propagenda that went in designing this survey.

http://www.politis-news.com/cgibin/hweb ... columns&-p

Apologies for the people that do not speak greek but I am sure a similar article has been published in Africa newspaper.

Here is what is another piece I managed to dig up from the net

Under the banner headline “65% say taksim (partition)” Turkish Cypriot daily AFRIKA newspaper (29.01.07) on its front page reports that the results of the latest opinion poll in the “North Cyprus” were disappointing. The preference of the population in “North Cyprus” for a two-state solution has increased for the first time to 65%... The proportion of those who want Federation has dropped to 20% and it is the biggest decline. The Director of KADEM, Mr Faiz, said that he was also surprised with these results and added: “I have been conducting research and opinion polls since 1989, but so far I have not seen such results.” Mr Faiz said that de-jure the population in the north Cyprus is approximately one hundred and ninety thousand, but de-facto the population is around 300,000.

The head title of AFRIKA also refers to Mr Faiz’s statements as follows: “According to an opinion poll the most trusted officials for our community are the army, the police and the courts! This means that the majority of those who have participated in the opinion poll are not Turkish Cypriots”.

Commenting on the same issue, Sener Levent in his column “Angle” in AFRIKA, writes inter alia, the following: “I refer to the population who live in the north side of Cyprus. I do not say the Turkish Cypriots… I cannot say it… in reality you cannot say it either… Bearing in mind that the population which has been carried from outside has doubled our population, the population here cannot be counted anymore as only the Turkish Cypriot population… you can only say ‘the Turkish origin community which is in the northern side of the island’…. Their demands cannot be accepted as the demands of the Turkish Cypriots…”

Yes I do...why not? Do you think that this kind of surveys are going to change my mind? I need a lot more than that. Even your and VP hater didnt change my mind! But remember this post...dont tell me again that you consider your self as a Cypriot and as a compatriot with us. Do you want to live with us?

How did they come to that conclusion? So what they are saying is that TCs do you trust the army police and courts?? who should we trust? GCs? EU?
