Dear Lena,

My generation was the first Cypriot generation whose innocence was taken away never to be returned by the Cyprus conflict. I have not forgotten anything,but have learned to forgive the previous generations for making our lives hell. We must make sure that at least the future generations can enjoy their childhood,and their innocence,and grow up as better human beings than our generation.This is why I strongly believe in a solution that will remove once and for all all possible sources of future conflict,and will allow for peace ,justice and compassion to grow in our homeland,the only one we have...

Thats what I said...we have to forgive and move on...we have to make sure that our children are going to have a better future ... But lots of people like VP...are not willing to do that. And the new generation if its like Shahmaran and Joanna...we will never live in one country peaceful and justice and compassion are going to be just simple words.

Lena have you never for 1 second considered that division maybe the solution, do you prefer the period between 1960 to 1974 or 1974 to 2007. The peaceful life we have on both sides is an indication that something is working right and people are not dieing everyday like Palestine and Iraq.

And what do you say to the 200 thousand Cypriots who were forced to abandon what was theirs and theirs alone , Fuck you ??

but you are allowing people to choose. greek cypriots cannot move to their properties tomorraow if they wanted too. turkish cypriots can return to their homes in the south, and it does not serve whatsoever I am not a refugee and now living away from cyprus but I believe in human rights and to that end I believe that people in cyprus ought to have the right to their properties and the right to live anywhere they choose to live.

How many TCs have got their homes back 2 3 4? well 2 GC has as well and 10 have got compensation.

Gc can apply to the property commission but the choose not due there non influence principles but thats their choice.

Why are you against GCs returning to live in the TRNC as minority, lets give every the choice of where they want to live.

I agree with viewpoint on this, and i am from the other side!!. Whats done is done, if there was some form of punishment that we could give the Turks then im sure we'd do give it. Time has passed ppl have moved on, made new lives. I, my family, and all the others that i know and hear of every day, prefer things as they are. I for one would never even dream of going back over there if there was a solution, and would deffinately not want my children to live amongst Turks.

We are discussing things on how we can resolve matters, would you and other GCs accept coming to live with us in the TRNC if you could have all your rights.

Maybe this is what we should be moving towards. Allow everyone to decide where they wish to live and die.
