Lucozade in Cyprus

Postby lpm10 » Mon Feb 05, 2007 1:53 pm

Hi Folks,

This may seem a strange request but can anyone let me know is Lucozade readily available in Cyprus?

The reason I ask is that my daughter is a diabetic & yes I am sure there are lots of diabetics on the island but I have to ask.

Thanks in advance.

Yes. But mainly the flavoured ones not the original. Most sup0ermarkets have diabetic chocolates and food in their health food section. The chocolate is really good.

The watching paint dry competitions are quite good here as well!

Along with my favourite sewing machine hums,

famous people abducted by aliens I have known,

and celebrity knitwear patterns!

One could loose the will to die!

I would rather cut off my penis with a rusty breadknife,

dive into a shark invested swimming pool full of rancid custard,

from the sixth floor of the opposite hotel balcony.

listen to the speaking clock every second to the end of my days...

than drink Lucozade in Cyprus!

As John Barnes used to say in those 1990's Lucozade ads....
"AFTER 90 MINUTES OF SHEER HELL, YOU'RE GONNA GET THIRSTY!"

What he then DIDN'T say was that 100% of all footballers would go out on the lash after the match, rather than drink a bottle of lucozade (which IMHO tastes rank - that's rank, not rawk ;) - wherever you drink it!)

Yeah, Lucozade Drinkers Anonymous!

Stand up and admit, "I am a secret Lucozade drinker"

Its a rubbishy sugary glucous concoction which excessive use will enduce diabetes.

If its so medically great, why isn't on prescription in the UK?

This invention of the Prince of Darkness should be consigned to history along with Watneys Red Barrel, Whitbread Tankard, Brentford Nylon, drip dry nylon shirts and Cadbury's Smash!

Goodbye Lucozade, old golden friend...

I'll never forget you,

especially when I'm having a pee!
