The Americans 'do' friendly fast food service very well. A bit "have a nice day" over the top but ok.

Ok, surely this is TGI Fridays we are talking about?

In which case it is just a restaurant chain, it's designed to be the same all over the world! Go in one and you've been in them all!

It's like, I could walk underneath the golden arches anywhere in the world say "big mac" and I'm pretty much going to get the same thing.

so quite why we are all describing here what TGI friday's is like I do not know....

:?

P.S: Does anyone know what the irish pub is like in XYZ land? Will it serve pints of guiness? (errmmm..... let me see.....)

Restaurants do use different ingredients as they have to use what is available in the country.

For example Pizza Express is different in Limassol compared to the UK. Similar menu but not the same and different ingredients such as the cheese.

I like it, too, in Limassol. However, I never got quick service, maybe I was not lucky. There are one or two guys working there who always seem just half awake.
sempron, consider it :)))

Only went there once with wifey and 2 friends, waited 20 minutes to be shown to a table, waited another 20 minutes without being approached by serving staff. gave up and went o LIDO a few doors away and got served.

We will try again as we liked TGIF in the UK, hopefully will have better luck next time
