Pafos Driving Schools?

Postby AnnM » Mon Feb 05, 2007 12:53 pm

Hi! I've never driven on left side of the road. Have visited Pafos several times and on next holiday wish to drive.. thought few lessons to drill the left side driving rules could come handy.
Found in net names of 10-15 driving teachers or schools in Paphos but none of them seems to have website. Anyone have any experience of driving schools/teachers in Paphos? Do you know if any of them is located in the area close to Alexander the Great? Have passed by a school or 2 downtown (old parts).. Thank you.

Actually the ROC are considering changing over to driving on the right in 2012 to meet EU traffic laws.

From April 2008 they were going to try it out with buses and lorries first,

and if that worked okay according to a government study,

all the rest of us who drive private cars, from April 2009.

Wow - now I just wonder is it worth to learn to drive on the left for just couple of years' sake... been visiting Cyprus since 1993 and not driven there for a single time... so what difference does couple of years make  unless this is one of those flexibly schedules changes..

Don't worry, Tina can spend half the lesson driving on the other side of the road, she will not charge you any extra.

Dont worry if you have had a couple of years driving experiance no matter which side of the road, driving on the other side is no great problem just concentrate and you soon get the hang of it.

How is this suppose work, with trucks and buses driving on the right, and the cars on the left, at the same time. :?: :?:

What happens to the traffic coming from the other direction. :?: :?:
